Job Description

Award winning Recruitment agency PE Global are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our business. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilise their expertise in financial analysis and strategicplanning.Duties of the role

  • Leading a team of 6 to ensure they are fully supporting the business
  • Weekly invoicing and generating self-bills from customer portals
  • Preparing weekly comparison reports for both UK and Ireland
  • Production of accurate accruals and prepayments for inclusion in monthly accounts
  • Production of monthly management accounts for the UK Division
  • Maintaining intercompany accounts
  • Providing support and assistance to external auditors
  • Generating ad hoc reports and Statutory HMRC Returns
  • Assist with the financial audits.
Requirements and skills
  • Part Qualified accountant with significant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong IT skills including advanced use of Excel to maintain existing reporting, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve tight deadlines, plan and prioritise workloads effectively for maximum impact, and effectively time-manage and work flexibly around changing priorities as required.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capability to interpret and challenge data and to interrogate financial systems.
  • Detailed orientated with ability to also understand and see the broader impacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skill and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to work on your own initiative and remain resilient and calm under pressure.
  • A strong focus on modern finance and achieving best practice.
  • Self-motivated that can adapt well to change and can thrive in an organisation which is rapidly growing and evolving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships.
  • Has strong commercial acumen and a focus on delivering value to the business.
  • Committed to their role, with a strong work ethic, and ambitious in building their future capability and career.
  • Willing to travel ad hoc if required.
