Job Description

Handle Recruitment are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join an established Live Events company. Working for a leading player in the live sector, the finance manager will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting for 4 key live subsidiaries andprovide support to senior business figures and performing artists. Working in an established finance function, the suitable candidate will have the opportunity to work in one of the most exciting sectors around and have a chance to be part of a company atthe top of its game.Based in the heart of London this is a position suitable for a candidate with a passion for live entertainment and events. You will have experience in the Media Sector and worked putting together management and year end accounts and be experienced in financialreporting.The duties included in the role are as follows:

  • Management Accounts, quarter end and annual accounts prep
  • Artist accounting, Tax returns and bookkeeping
  • Tour Accounting, ticket revenue reporting and venue accounting
  • Financial reporting and royalties reporting to artists and senior business figures.
  • Cash book and bank reconciliation, sales day book, sales ledger and debtors ledger
  • Analysis of company credit card statements and expenses, Purchase daybook and purchase ledger control
  • Supervision of junior accountant
  • Continual process and system improvements
Skill set required:
  • Ideally ACA /ACCA/CIMA qualified altSystems experience essential with Excel knowledge to advanced level. Knowledge of PMI accounting systems desirable but not essential
  • Excellent planning and organising skills to meet deadlines
  • Experience gained within a media, ideally TV/digital production business preferable but not essential
