Job Description

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a global multi-channel retail business ($3 BN revenue YE 2022) on their search for a Finance Manager to join their team. This role reports into the Senior Finance Manager level, looking after 4 directreportMapped Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a global multi-channel retail business ($3 BN revenue YE 2022) on their search for a Finance Manager to join their team. This role reports into the Senior Finance Manager level, looking after4 direct reports.Responsibilities

  • Complete financial close procedures and preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts and any other required reports of UK entities according to the agreed timetable.
  • Closely liaise with Senior Finance Manager and FP&A team on the preparation and review of monthly results.
  • Responsible for completion and approval of monthly balance sheet reconciliations/ balance sheet reconciliation process.
  • Responsible for preparation and coordination of year-end information for audits and completion of local statutory accounts per filing deadlines.
  • Responsible for all EMEA bank accounts-related procedures and reconciliation.
  • Review all banking schedules
  • Ensure SOX / Internal Audit compliance for all UK entities.
  • Produce and maintain all inventory, freight and duty-related accounting schedules accurately within the agreed timeline.
  • Centrally owning all the fixed Assets and inter-company related close activities.
  • Consolidating and act as the key liaison between EMEA and US accounting teams for these two areas.
  • Manage the UK GL team
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar Finance Leadership role
  • Previous experience within an EMEA / US facing and multi-currency environment
  • Experience of SOX Controls is a plus/US GAAP and FRS102.
  • Wholesale/Retail/Inventory industry experience will be preferred
  • Worked for global organisations
This role offers a great benefits package in addition to the basic salary - bonus, and private healthcare and only requires 1 or 2 days a week in their centrally located office.
