Recently Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMAWant to progress and work in a tech start-up with shares on offer!Our client, a rapidly growing VC-backed tech start-up are looking for a newly qualified Accountant to join them as their next Finance Manager. The business has an interesting business/revenue model and have been expanding quickly across the UK, with furtherplans to expand into the US.They are incredibly proud of the company theyve built and the culture and working environment theyve developed. Its a fun team of like-minded passionate and hardworking people - could you be their next hireWhether youve just qualified in practice and are looking at making your first move into industry, or youve qualified in industry...we would love to hear from you!The role is a varied finance role but will include;* Preparing monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary* Reviewing monthly spend, reporting on overspend with analysis* Assisting the Financial Controller with the preparation of annual financial statements* Budgeting and forecasting, with quarterly review on act vs budget * Implementing new internal controls and processes, ensuring they are effective as the company scales* Managing two finance assistants, supporting with their development Role requirements;* Recently Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA* Accounts preparation experience (Management/Statutory)* Start-up experience is desirable, but not essential (if straight from practice this could come from a similar client base)* Good Excel skills and able to pick systems up quickly* Previous experience managing a small team would be beneficial, but not essentialIn return they are offering;* £50,000 - £60,000 salary depending on experience* Stock/shares in the company (after successfully completing probation)* 25 days holiday + bank holidays* Flexible working (2 days in the office / remaining 3 days at your preference)If you like the sound of the role and feel you have the above requirements, please do apply.
