Job Description

This is a key role in Finance that will report to the Director of Finance. The role will be crucial in the current transitional finance programme, enabling positive change and continuous improvement.Client DetailsThe organisation we are working with is one of the largest bereavement charities in the UK. They offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and to enhance societies care of bereaved people.DescriptionThe Responsibilities of the Finance manager will include:

  • Business partnering with stakeholders providing reports, analysis, budgeting support
  • Supporting the DoF in all project work (e.g. implementation of new CRM system / centralisation of finance procedures)
  • Monthly Management accounting
  • Support with implementation of financial controls and reporting
  • Assist in the full preparation of the statutory accounts and audit process in line with SORP requirements.
  • Supporting with Line management of the Finance Team
    • ProfileThe Successful Finance Manager must have experience working in a similar role within a charity as well as actively studying a CCAB qualification with an aim of completion in the near future.The Finance Manager must also have Strong Excel skills, Be highly organised and possess Great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Experience of VAT submissions, Payroll Accounting and project work will set you aside in this process.Job OfferOn offer for the successful Finance Manager is a salary of up to £44,000 depending on experience and a competitive benefits package.
