Job Description

Title: Finance ManagerSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus & wider benefitsLocation: Liverpool Street (100% office based)Our client, a multinational commodities trading business head-quartered in central London with operations across Europe and North America, are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team.Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Support the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monitoring and analysing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
  • Manage invoices daily from the operation post fixture department
  • Process staff expense claims and analyse credit card accounts and journal payments
  • Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information
Requirements:
  • Must have an accounting qualification or is a finalist - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience and working with financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Energy and drive to get the job done
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills
