Job Description

Finance Manager | Utilities | London - Hybrid | £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefitsA Leading Utilities business are looking for their next Finance Manager. This role will report into the Group FC and will offer great exposure to a variety of projects and enable you to work closely with the Senior Leadership team. There will be lots ofscope in this role with opportunities to progress.What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the internal and external financial reporting
  • Prepare the company year-end statutory accounts and the group’s monthly reporting
  • Liaise with different teams to prepare the annual and interim report
  • Lead a small team and act as a key contact for the auditors
  • Subject matter expert on IFRS and UK GAAP and make sure accounting guidelines are up-to-date
  • Present the monthly report to shareholders and be prepared to be involved with budgets and forecasts
What we are looking for:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Practice background ideal with PQE in industry
  • Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge
  • Management experience desirable - will be leading a small team of two
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
