Job Description

Finance Manager £80,000-£85,000 + bonusCentral London, office based We are partnered with a privately owned and rapidly growing real estate group of companies in their search for a Finance Manager to join their finance team in London.The Finance Manager will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts, credit controls and accounts payable process as well as the management of a small team.Responsibilities include

  • Preparation of monthly financial reports for the group companies
  • Managing monthly financial tasks, including handling accruals, prepayments, bank account reconciliations, and intercompany balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Issuing invoices to tenants and preparing management report packages.
  • Keeping the Monthly Board Report up to date
  • Overseeing and maintaining monthly VAT and CIS returns
  • Collaborating with development managers to analyse development appraisals and cash flow projections and formulating cost plans and integrating sales and financing assumptions
  • Compiling monthly utilisation requests for student housing properties
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for the annual statutory audit
  • Supervising the accounts payable functions, ensuring punctual payments and an up-to-date list of creditors
  • Proactively identifying and implementing process and system improvements
Key Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification (ACA/ ACCA)
  • Extensive relevant experience, ideally from a top 10 accountancy firm
  • Real estate experience is essential
  • Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Sage is an asset
