Job Description

South East London - Hybrid 2 days per week.10 Month FTCAs a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the organisations financial health and supporting their strategic goals. You will be a vital part of the management team and will have the opportunity to makea significant impact on their success.Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the companys short-term and long-term goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control company expenses while seeking opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and financing to optimize the organizations liquidity and financial stability.
  • Audit and Taxation: Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
Qualifications:
  • A full accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential. Open to those studying towards a professional qualification (AAT, CIPFA, CIMA etc)
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role.
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and taxation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
