The Role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and monthly reporting including management accounts, inter-company reconciliations and month end closures. Within the group we have several elements inclusive of manufacturing, construction, andinternational contracts so the role is well rounded across multiple sectors. We are looking for someone who is willing to take control over the finance function and look at ways to make improvements.Key Responsibilities:- Responsibility for: Month end closing, production of monthly management accounts, inter-company reconciliations, Budget reporting and regulatory fillings- Responsibility for: maintaining the company profit and cash flow forecasts.- Responsibility for: maintaining the company balance sheet and accounting ledger.- Develop and implement effective processes and controls- Complying with IFRS guidelines- Understand and comply with all Groups policies and procedures.- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as group board and department heads- Contract management and working with our internal QS team- Maintaining entries of invoices, bank reconciliations and the finance system as a wholeEssential:Qualifications & Training:- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or QBE,- 1+ years in a PQE finance role as a minimum.Skills:- Strong Excel skills,- Excellent attention to detail,- Hands on approach as part of a small team.Desirable:Experience:- Construction or manufacturing experience but not required- Audit experience (In-house or practice)Skills:- Able to work to deadlines, strong communication skills, ability to work with other key members.Product Knowledge:- Implementing ERP system and controls beneficial but not essential.- Subheadings in italics for guidance.
