Job Description

Partner Financial are engaged with a private equity backed global manufacturing business, with a turnover of £200M focused on providing more sustainable solutions. The business is an expert in responsible production and recyclable items. The company is investingsignificantly into new markets and on the development of new products.The position will report to the Group Financial Controller, joining a high performing and coordinated team, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control and financial reporting for the UK statutory entities.Key responsibilities:

  • Managing of month end close process, ensuring accurate completion of information to Regional Management and submission of group reporting packs.
  • Monitoring divisional balance sheets with supporting schedules.
  • Establishing relationships with local banks and other financial institutions.
  • Preparing annual budgets for the region, as well as weekly short-term profit forecasts.
  • Managing the UK Payroll, prepared by an external payroll company.
  • Overseeing cash flow forecasting, including weekly updates to short term cash flow forecasts.
  • Assisting with the UK transfer pricing calculations, including management fees, intercompany interest, and royalty payments
  • Presenting divisional results to Group Management monthly.
  • Preparing VAT returns and other tax/regulatory filings and annual returns.
The ideal candidate:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Flexible team player and an effective communicator with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent IT literacy, especially MS Excel.
  • Highly organised, proactive, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in finance roles in industry, manufacturing business would be a plus.
