Your responsibilities will include Managing all financial processes across the business in a broad and all-encompassing fashion, really getting stuck into the detail. Raising funds and scaling the business Drive the finance function in a hands-on fashion, maintaining a stable financial reporting framework and producing useful management information to support the business and make strategic decisions Being data first, working on data quality, ensuring that dashboards are set up and utilised across the business Supporting the MD on scoping business development projects Constantly looking at process automation, suggesting improvements where relevant Coordinating with the outsourced bookkeepers, Monitoring cash flow and management of company bank accounts and preparing forecasts and budgets chairing the remuneration committee and managing R&D Tax Claims Risk management, immediately identifying and mitigating risks Other duties such as payroll treasury and investor relations and ad hoc project work Requirements Fully Qualified Accountant ACA from a top accountancy firm Degree from a Russell Group / Oxbridge Experience working in an SME environment Experience of scaling businesses, as well as raising funds / exits Understanding of brand / working within a creative business A wiliness to automate financial processes
