Finance Director Location: This is a home-based role, travel throughout the country is likely, our HQ is in Central LondonSalary: £110,000 - £120,000 per annum, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentWe are Gov Facility Service Ltd, a non-profit company owned entirely by the Ministry of Justice, supplying facilities management services to 50 prisons over the South and East of the UK with an employee count of 1,400.This is an executive leadership role, as our Finance Director you will have management accountability for the day to day operation of a large proportion of GFSL Corporate Functions that facilitate the effective running of the operational business.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role of Finance Director will work as part of the main Board and lead 3 distinct areas of the business - Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will be expected to keep a tight rein on delegated budgets and will involve accountability for the entire breadth of activity undertaken by those corporate functions, and for ensuring that an efficient and effective service is delivered to our client.With a primary focus on keeping the business safe and controlled. There is a high level of responsibility and accountability to deliver services in line with legal requirements upholding an ethos of integrity, objectivity and honesty.In addition to the above, as our Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
