The BusinessA disruptive tech start-up that recently completed Series A funding to scale up their learning and development platform that helps teams around the world learn and grow at work through technology.Already adopted by global enterprise clients this is an exiting time to join the team as they move into scale up phase.The JobYou will join the team as a Finance Director responsible for the company Finance and building a Finance Team alongside the companys expansion.This is a truly exciting role where youd manage operational finance as well as forward planning, forecasting and board decks.Responsibilities: End-to-end finance operations e.g., month and year end journals. Produce high level quarterly management accounts including some non-financial SaaS specific metrics e.g., churn, CAC, growth rates and LTV. Partner with stakeholders across the business. Prepare board packs. Prepare for audits. Own month process. Produce scenario planning and sensitivity analysis e.g., different revenue outcomes and hiring plans. Point of contact for external accountants, bookkeepers, payroll.The team operate a hybrid working model of 1-2 days in the office and 3-4 days remotely.Candidate Requirements Fully qualified, ACA, CIMA, ACCA. Excited to join a well-funded, disruptive and fast growth start-up. Experience working for a SaaS business and understand relevant metrics. Experienced with account software, ideally Quickbooks. Strong relationship builder with other stakeholders across the organisation. Advanced MS Excel skills.Benefits Private health insurance.
