Job Description

A leading Fintech business who have grown significantly and are now a well-known name, needs an Interim to lead a systems and data project.As the Systems & Change Accountant, you will focus solely on projects. You will support a team of high-calibre qualified accountants in delivering a complex finance system transfer. The role is data heavy and requires data extraction and manipulation.You will drive the finance system change agenda and therefore will need to work independently and demonstrate initiative to manage the change effectively.ResponsibilitiesRe-Platforming project: integrate finance systems

  • Main focus will be moving from an in-house front-end system, back office on to a bespoke system
  • Covering accounting, reporting and reconciliations
  • Driving automation where possible
Finance data flow control
  • Population of general ledger
  • Static flow maintenance
  • Change management
  • Stakeholder management across IT, Operations and Treasury
Build new processes and streamline existing processes and controlsBuild the reporting capability of financeSupport the finance team for legacy and new systemsSkills and ExperienceYou will be experienced in end-to-end process flows and data quality management, especially for finance. A background in data extraction and manipulation, ideally for a high volume business, will be essential.You must also have experience of a systems change or working in a project/change environment.It is preferred, although not essential, if you have an accounting qualification and SQLThe role is part of a fantastic team that is fun, supportive and professional.
