Based in the West End, reporting to the CFO, this is a hands-on leadership role that will take on full responsibility for Group Management Reporting, Statutory reporting and FCA Reporting.Responsibilities include Monthly Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts, FCA Reporting, preparing annual budgets and forecasts incorporating P&L, Balance sheet and Cash-flow. This is the complete Finance Controller role in a well-known, well respected Asset Management business.Key Duties:· Leading a small Finance team· Responsibility for the preparation of management and statutory accounts.· Prepare annual budgets and forecasts· Consolidation of Group Accounts - under UKGAAP and USGAAP, FRS103· Implementation and maintenance of a structured reporting timetable and appropriate reporting formats· Liaison with external regulatory bodies; such as the FCA· Responsible for all Board reporting· Treasury management and payments· Risk Management· Ad-hoc projects on a regular basisThe successful candidate will be:· A qualified accountant ACA orACCA· At least 8 years post qualified experience· Must have strong Financial Services experience· Experience in management and financial reporting· A proven leader· Used to taking a hands on approach to their work.· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to liaise with senior partners / colleagues· Exceptional attention to detail· Meeting room presenceTrace is an innovative consultancy and we are serious about finding you the right role.
