Job Description

This role is a global wide responsibility overseeing and prioritising the workload for delivering small enhancements to continually deliver efficiencies to the business and leverage our solution investments. This role will engage with key business stakeholders globally to establish justification and priorities of work packages.Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the work of the small change deliverables
  • Run change meetings with key business stakeholders to prioritise workload and provide status on deliverables
  • Work with the Head of Projects to utilize resources and ensure that requirements and impact assessments are clearly understood before progressing
  • Develop business processes for managing and prioritising change request tickets, working with the IT Application Support Manager, and communicating to the wider finance audience so the change process is workable and efficient
  • Influence change to the Service Now ticket system to improve status reporting
  • Organising appropriate training for individuals that will enhance their personal development and increase our capabilities to deliver improved procedures and efficiencies
  • Be involved in the planning, testing and QA of upgrades or continuous releases working with the IT Application Support Manager
  • Work with the IT Business Support Manager to articulate to the business the impacts of a critical outage
  • Communicate to the business, software vendor planned outages and collaborate with the IT Application Support Manager with regards to critical calendar pressures such as month, quarter and year end processes outside of normal hours working occurs
  • Manage hand over meetings with IT Support (WNS and Pramati) and ensure all appropriate documentation is prepared and to the quality required, and that all IT support staff are appropriately trained
  • Provide solid governance around all change to meet audit requirements and that deliveries are timely and effective
  • All changes that involve people and security must be approved through the recognized approval matrix
  • Attend CAB meetings (IT change approval board) to present technical changes and obtain QA from the IT Application Support Manager (recognized peer)
  • Work with the IT Application Support Manager to extend the scope of the support teams ability and to provide knowledge transfer
