Job Description

I have a fantastic new opportunity for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant searching their first role in industry. I am working with a growing property developer who are seeking highly motivated and dynamic finance professional to play a crucial rolein delivering robust finance business partnering and the opportunity to be involved in some exciting upcoming projects!Reporting into a line manager who has demonstrated an impressive track record since training in practice, this role will partner with a range of stakeholders in a given directorate to implement vigorous financial management and support financial reporting.In addition to the opportunity to enhance your business partnering skills, this role will also line manage a junior team member, however no prior experience of team management is required.The main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Play a crucial role in the organisations business partnering and reporting function, providing first-class financial support to all stakeholders, challenging, and analysing data to ensure robust financial management.
  • Support the production annual statutory accounts and being a key point of contact for auditors, providing schedules and making appropriate adjustments.
  • Develop detailed investment appraisals on upcoming projects with supporting insightful analysis to aid decision making.
  • Line management of one Trainee Accountant, providing support and training to enhance their professional development.
  • Opportunity to be involved in the organisations upcoming financial systems upgrade process, identifying efficiencies and enhanced reporting opportunities.

You will play a leading role in the organisationsambitious strategy and implement valuable process improvements to the financial reporting for the organisation.The successful candidate will be:
  • A chartered accountant qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Ideally trained in practice, now seeking their first role in industry.
  • A first-class communicator with an excellent ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (familiar with Vlookups, Pivot Tables, SumIFs)
