Our client is one of the leading providers in supplying communities with affordable housing across the South East.The RoleReporting directly to the Head of Finance & Commercial Planning this role will play a crucial part in embedding the relationship between the ALMO the council and key stakeholders across the business.The organisation is looking for high performing individuals able to work and thrive in a high volume, fast paced housing sector environment and who are keen to bring their passion and knowledge of finance to a growing organisation. The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified (or similar accounting qualification) and be able to demonstrate solid experience providing an accurate and timely financial reporting service to a fast-paced organisation. You will have the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and offer proactive advice and support to budget holders. A team player with excellent communication skills, you will use your technical expertise to ensure the Finance department offers the best possible support to our diverse highly regulated organisation.Key responsibilities include: *Working with the Business Partnering & Financial Planning Manager to provide a financial business partnering service to the organisation. *Assisting with the annual budget setting process*Challenging all the business assumptions and ensuring that the budget is aligned to the strategic plans and corporate priorities. *Provide timely, accurate financial and management information to the business *Managing a team that strive to provide an excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders. *Delivering complex finance information to non- finance staff.Key Experience:*Successful delivery of key budgeting information within a regulated environment*Ideally experience from with Public Sector, Government or Housing exposure *Educated to degree level or equivalent*Fully Qualified Accountant or equivalent*You will have professional gravitas to influence stakeholders at a senior level and generally strong skills in negotiation and persuasion. *You will understand how to act commercially within a not-for-profit business and act as a role model for the company values*Demonstrable experience of effective project managementIf you a qualified accountant who is looking for a progressive career opportunity, please do get in touch with your most recent CV for immediate consideration.
