Badenoch & Clark are partnered with a large Telecoms company who are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them on an initial 3 month contract (scope for extension based on project). The role *End to end financial ownership of Mobile Equipment P&L and Mobile Opex (£200m+ Revenue, 150m+ Cost).*Financial Business partner to Head of Trading and Head of Device Portfolio Management,oHolding the commercial team to account oInfluence the decision making process, to drive value in the pricing and handset purchasing strategies*Business case development / review for strategic proposals such as pricing and new product development*Communication and articulation of the OCF and Revenue to the various stakeholders of Consumer Finance *Drive integration across the business including reviewing and modelling contracts to ensure the best purchase and customer pricing is delivered across both companies.Core skills required *Ability to influence decision making process to drive change*Strong analytical capabilities and experience of complex revenue modelling*A creative ability to think around the problem to solve issues*Consistently initiating / driving change and process improvements across widerKey interfaces*Commercial business partners - build close relationship with commercial team to hold them to account and influence *Commercial Finance - provision of clear information to Consumer and Group FP&A teams, working closely across consumer finance operational teams to understand E2E impact of trading decisions*Business Intelligence - improving available information and automation of reportingRequired key skills (functional & technical)*Strong attention to detail*Excellent Excel and modelling skills *Highly numerate/analytical*Strong presentation and written skills*Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills*Experience working in cross-functional teams*Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels*Experience of ERP systems: Oracle Essbase advantageous*QlikView experience an advantage*Qualified accountant *Previous telecommunications experience advantageous*Relevant experience in a business partner role*Capability to work efficiently and creatively in a fast-moving environmentBadenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
