Job Description

Our Head Office Controlling Department is looking for a proactive, analytical, management accounting professional to join our team and partner with internal stakeholders across the business locally and internationally.The Controlling Department provides support to executive management, operational departments and international colleagues and has responsibility over synthesising relevant key performance indicators to aid targeted management of all business processes withinthe company.If you are a finance professional, have an accomplished management accounting background and proven technical and organisational skills that leave you standing out from the crowd, this may be the opportunity for you!We have a hybrid working model for Head Office roles, ensuring you have a flexible work life balance.What youll do

  • Act as a Business partner to support departmental tasks and independently manage projects, designing reports and tools that will add value and assist with key decision making
  • Supporting executive management projects and tasks as well as international requests
  • Building strong relationships throughout the business to instil confidence and trust with key stakeholders both at executive management level and their respective teams
  • Monitoring and analysing KPIs, thereby identifying risks, errors, problems and improvement opportunities
  • Detailed P&L analysis including and not limited to management and ownership of the month end process including any potential accounting corrections, further analysis and commentary
  • Creation and regular review of planned budgets
  • Planning key indicators
  • Manipulating and interpreting large sets of business data using the Business Intelligence tools
  • Creating country-specific reports
  • Conducting quality assurance of systems
  • Developing and analysing audited areas
  • Ability to learn and adapt to Business Partnering areas and provide analysis and support to stakeholders to help interpret key information and data
What youll need
  • Excellent communication skills
  • German language skills are ideal but not essential
  • Solid Management Accounting experience
  • Prior FP&A experience is essential
  • Professional Accounting Qualification or studying towards e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA desirable
  • Previous experience working with departments outside of Finance and managing stakeholders
  • Previous experience working with a Supply Chain department (desirable)
  • Broad & solid reporting experience
  • Ability to influence decisions at all levels of the organisation
  • A proven aptitude for data analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel / VBA skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work on projects and solve problems independently
  • A bigger picture mentality
  • An innovator rather than an administrator, who can deliver the final product in a quality and timely manner
