Job Description

My client a leading FTSE 250 business is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner to join the team on a 9 month contract.The role will report into a Divisional Head of Finance and join a team that produces all the forward facing financial information and analysis. The business has a great culture there is plenty to experience in a transformational business.The responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

  • Business partner non finance to provide analysis for decision making by way of scenario testing and business case analysis.
  • Provide support around budgeting and reforecasting.
  • Provide analysis and commentary on business performance and strategic insights.
  • Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.
  • Review and report on risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with the FP&A team to provide information on ad hoc requests such as presentations and strategic reports.
  • Work with operations to develop new KPIs for business reporting.
  • Support any analysis for any potential M&A activity.
    • Skills and qualifications required:
  • Qualified accountant - ACCA, ACA ACMA or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working as a Finance Business Partner supporting non finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into strategic insight.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Proficient Excel skills, experience using PowerPoint and confident at presenting.
  • Experience of NetSuite and SAP would be beneficial.
