A global and successful retail business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified finance business partner.You will be responsible for optimising Store costs across stores to drive business performance. Working closely with commercial and finance stakeholders, this role is instrumental in ensuring value for moneyfrom the cost base, prioritising investments, post investment analysis and influencing senior leaders.This is a newly created role to provide a dedicated focus on Property, allowing an exceptional candidate to significantly influence the future shape of the portfolio as well as supporting retail initiatives.Key responsibilities include:* Analysing and influencing future shape of store portfolio* Ownership of financial appraisal and post implementation review process for space decisions (new stores, extensions,closures etc), influencing decisions and making recommendations.* Post investment analysis of existing and historic space changes* Developing close and trusted working relationships with Directors and Heads providing support for decision making* Developing a detailed knowledge of Property / store costs and drivers - use to challenge and reduce spend* Working with procurement to identify and influence opportunities to improve value for money* Supporting Retail with adhoc performance analysis* Alongside Property and Shopfitting Directors / Heads, agreeing an annual budget and update periodic forecasts and challenge theseThis is a unique role with no month end where you will business partner at director level. You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in a consumer business in a business partnering role.
