Job Description

Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner looking to take the next step in your career Coud you confidently provide leadership and guidance to an established finance team during a period of change Could you confidently take autonomous control forthe financials of a growing services If yes, this could be the role for you!This rapidly growing and forward-thinking charitable organisation are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into a highly experienced Head of Finance, this role will be responsible for the financialmanagement for a specific portfolio of services across the region. Through the provision of advice, guidance and financial analysis, you will enable your budget holders to deliver targets in line with the wider organisation’s new strategic plan.They key duties of this Finance Business Partner role are as follows:

  • Be the subject matter expert and key point of contact for all things financial management for your portfolio.
  • Business partner with a range of budget holders across your directorate to provide analysis and sound financial advice to aid decision making.
  • Full responsibility for reviewing financial performance of all services across your directorate through in-depth financial analysis, writing supporting commentaries and challenging spends/assumptions as required.
  • Work closely with your stakeholders to set annual budgets and quarterly forecasts and feed the final results into the regional budget reports.
  • Play a hands on role in the year end process for your area of responsibility, ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of key financial information for the external accountants and liaising with auditors as required.

Furthermore, the role will officially be based out of their head office in London, but there will be opportunities to work from home three times per week on offer once you have settled in.The successful candidate will have:
  • Demonstrable business partnering and stakeholder management experience.
  • The confidence to liaise with Executive level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally, exposure to working in the public sector, but this is by no means essential.
