Job Description

A London Market insurer with a global presence is looking for an Finance Business Partner to join the team following a successful period of growth. In this role you will have direct interaction with senior management and department heads while supportingthe production of the annual financial business plan working with multiple departments across the organisation, preparing insightful analysis to support the commercial decision-making process to identify opportunities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of the global insurance annual business plan, partnering with Underwriting Heads to drive a business plan
  • Utilises insurance industry experience to ensure analysis is relevant and useful to the business community
  • Work collaboratively with internal colleagues to coordinate responses on MI, plan, reforecasts and financial reporting activities relating to pricing, claims, and expenses
  • Face-off to the business on the communication and ownership of the quarterly financial result, monthly GWP reporting, and annual Plan
  • Analysis and reporting of the businesses global insurance financial data and quarterly results
  • Assist in the production of reporting and line of business Quarterly Performance Reviews
  • Producing required expense reporting within the Syndicate Business Plan (SBF)
To be considered for this role you should have experience in the Insurance market, ideally within Lloyds, with previous experience in an commercially focused role. An analytical approach with a good technical understanding of insurance concepts and financialinformation will be beneficial for this role. The candidate must also hold an accounting qualification (ICAEW, ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
