Job Description

Finance Business PartnerWould you like to join a high performing, dynamic forward focused Finance Business Partner team Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Finance professionalto become e atrustedadvisor providing financial insights, analysis, support and advicetoBusinessLeaders to drive actions anddecisionsto achievebusinessgoals.Role &Responsibilities

  • FinancebusinesspartneringwithBusinessUnit and Service Line Leaders
  • Preparationandpresentationof regular budgets and forecasts to reflectbusinessstrategy and plans.
  • Reporting of financial performance, trends andanomalies
  • Prepare clear, concise and accuratemanagementinformation
  • Analysis andinterpretationofbusinessperformance in order to assistBusinessLeaders take informeddecisionsto improve financial performance
  • Beingproactivein finding solutions to drive actions which addressidentifiedissues
  • Produce informative variance analysis, turning data into digestible information
  • Prepare and report financial data consolidation
  • Communicationwithand training ofBusinessUnits to ensureunderstandingofbusinessprocesses andrequirements
  • Ensuring compliancewithincomerecognitionandrealisationpolicies and processes
  • LiaisonwithotherBusinessService teams to ensuredevelopmentandintegrationof all processes andknowledgesharing
  • Develop and improve reporting to make it asaccessibleand useful as possible. e.g. including Power BI dashboards.
  • Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure income is recognised according to IFRS 15 and costs are accounted for correctly and consistently
Skills,KnowledgeandExperience
  • Up to date technicalknowledgeof UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunicationskills and able to present to senior stakeholders confidently.
  • Activelyseeks to enhance expertise and knowledge, through training and working closely with the business
  • Ability toidentifyissues through sound analysis andapplicationof commercial acumen in allsituations
  • Hold a recognised accountingqualification(ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Stronganalyticalskillswithexperiencein maintaining theintegrityof excel data models
  • Excellent excelskills
  • Experienceof Power BI(preferable)or willing ness to learn
  • Experience of Anaplan (preferable) or willing ness to learn
  • Proven track record of presenting financial performance and analysiswithclarity andconfidence
  • Previousexperienceorunderstandingof theprofessionalservicesbusinessmodel (preferable).
  • Strongcommunicationand influencingskillswithan ability to build good relations across theorganisation
  • Good timemanagementskillsandexperienceof working to tight deadlines
  • Flexible andadaptableto changingrequirementsof the role & thebusinessduring the year.
