Job Description

Toner Graham are thrilled to be recruiting for the role of FinanceBusiness Analyst to join global corporation in the pharmaceutical/dermatology sector.Location: London & work from homeSalary: £40,000-50,000 per annumFixed term Contract: 6-9 months from 30th June 2022Provide financial, business and marketing analysis to the management team of the affiliate (Head of Finance, General Manager, BU heads) to help those taking appropriate decisions to grow the business and the profitability of the company. This position requireshaving close working relationship with the business organization, and will support the UK&I.Responsibilities:

  • Assist Business Controller with financial modelling on different business plans, new accounts and new product launches
  • Support with completion of Rolling Forecast Sales file and agreeing rolling forecast by brand with relevant managers.
  • Assist Business Controller with preparation of monthly Sales submission, including creation of RIG/OG files
  • Assist Business Controller with trade spend reconciliation
  • COGS and MC% variance analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Act as finance business partner to marketing and sales teams, providing support in evaluating new product launches, trade spend initiatives and providing monthly KPIs.
  • Support Business Controller in preparing Budget slide deck for the UK
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by Finance Director/Business Controller
  • Backup to Business Controller as required
  • Liaison with GBS (global business services) and assistance during handover process
Requirements:
  • Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (preferably CIMA)
  • Degree level education required
  • Demonstrable experience of operating within a similar remit is essential, and preferably within a similar or comparable industry (Pharmaceutical/FMCG)
  • UK GAAP and IAS Contractual knowledge (or similar experience from other countries)
  • Innovative thinker, challenging the status quo with the ability to drive change up and down the organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional fluency in English
  • Possesses a can-do attitude
  • Experience of mainframe accounting systems and good IT skills
  • Team player with a strong customer-oriented focus / approach
  • Able to meet timely deadlines and accept responsibility for the tasks taken on by the team
