Global Accounting Network are partnered with an industry leading business that work closely with high-end retail brands to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team in their office in the centre of London. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this Finance Assistant will be analytical, highly organised and will driven tohave a successful career in finance.Duties in this Finance Assistant position will include working closely alongside the CFO and Financial Controller to ensure the companys monthly financial reporting is achieved in a timely manner, managing accounts payable and receivable, setting up allpayments through the bank, processing staff expenses, supplier statement reconciliations, credit control, liaising closely with external accountants, liaising with outsourced payroll provider, ad-hoc management reports and dealing with all finance relatedqueries.The ideal candidate will be at least AAT qualified or qualified by experience. ACCA or CIMA studies will be supported therefore somebody studying for either qualification could be well suited. We are looking for an autonomous individual who can take ownershipof the finance function and support a growing business. Previous experience working with Xero and Excel would be beneficial. The ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills, build strong professional relationships, and the ability to collaborate andcontribute as part of a team is important.In return this business has a fantastic culture where all teams work collaboratively together, a great office space, total flexibility around days and hours and will support remote working 1-2 days per week.
