Job Description

The Role:A leading furniture design company is seeking a well-rounded Finance Assistant to join their team. The company work across high end interior design projects with luxury clientele.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with great communication and finance skills to join a fast-paced and highly regarded, international design studio. This position will be working closely with the COO to provide varied financial assistance for the team and wider company.Our client offers an array of benefits including flexitime, enhanced annual leave and pension plans, team breakfasts, private health insurance and more, plus the opportunity to develop your career with one of the most exciting and well-known brands in the industry.Key Responsibilities: Managing the full sales and purchase ledger functions, including sending invoices, chasing payments, expenses, supplier payment runs, supplier/client account reconciliations Bank and credit card reconciliation Managing and maintaining client billings schedules Liaising with suppliers Ensuring timely collection of debt Ensuring all transactions, revenue and expenditure, are properly accounted for in the correct periods and with accuracy Maintaining company cash flow reports Managing FX exposure Ad hoc finance tasks and reportingKey Skills: Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position - ideally within design or high-end retail FX/multi-currency exposure Proficient in Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills QuickBooks experience advantageous Analytical, methodical and accurate with the ability to deliver high-quality work Multitasker with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independentlyTo apply for this position please click on the pink button to attach your CV.By applying for this role you agree to our Privacy Policy (full details are shown at the bottom of our website).The Crowd is an equal opportunities employer and agency.
