This role will bridge the gap between the Finance Manager and the Junior Finance Assistant.Client DetailsBased in the heart of London my client works with corporate clients to provide a range of contracted and ad hoc services including occupational health, which helps employers to get the best from their teams while promoting and protecting their health and wellbeing.Providing bespoke medical services to the entertainment industry, providing support to leading insurers, concert promoters and production companies as well as maximising health and wellness amongst the entertainment industry community.They also offers a comprehensive range of medical services, 24 hours per day, to support foreign nationals visiting or working in London.DescriptionKey roles and responsibilities for this Finance Assistant role include:oPosting of bank transactions (high volume)oSupplier invoice audit and posting (high volume)oLedgers reconciliationoPetty cash managementReportingoPreparation of daily, weekly and monthly reportsoSupport with the preparation of the management accountsoSupport with the preparation of the statutory audit documentation-Preparation and filing of tax documentation-General administration and document management-Ad hoc tasks including cheque deposits, cash withdrawal and cost reviewsProfileThe successful Finance Assistant candidate will:- Have at least 2/3 years experience in Finance- Be studying for ACCA or CIMA- Live within an hour of London- Looking to progress with their accountancy career- Be open to business partnering and flexibleJob OfferOn offer to the right Finance Assistant candidate is:- A competitive salary for a role of this kind- A great opportunity to progress with an accountancy career- Central Lo don location Required skills
