Job Description

About the role:A small charity that aims to improve lives is currently searching for a Finance Assistant to join their fantastic finance team!The organisation is offering up to £28k plus great benefits and this hybrid role involves 3 days a week in the Central London office.Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing all day-to-day transactions
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations for income and expenditure
  • Assisting with month end and year end tasks
  • Monitor financial processes, ensuring policies are complied with and deadlines are met
  • Handling queries and producing reporting and data analysis as required
  • Supporting with governance and administrative tasks
The successful candidate:
  • Working towards a finance qualification, e.g. AAT
  • Demonstrable experience in the following:
    • Accounts payable
    • Accounts receivable
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Producing accurate results with attention to detail
    • Confident systems and Excel user
  • A confident communicator who enjoys building rapport and working collaboratively
  • Strong organisational skills, able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
