Finance Assistant Permanent RoleBased in the City of London 25-30k dependant on experienceOur client are looking for someone who is eager to continue their career in finance.As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth financial operations of the company.This is a exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about a career in finance, as you will be trained by an experienced, fun and friendly team.Duties will Include:* Providing general support to the finance team, including administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects.* Review and verify purchase invoices.* Ensure accurate coding and approval of invoices.* Timely entry of invoices into the financial system.* Reconcile bank statements with transaction records.* Post journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions.* Review staff expenses to ensure appropriate documentation has been provided and claims are in line with company policy.* Ensure accurate posting of VAT reclaim based on documentation provided.* Prepare payment runs, ensuring vendors are paid on time.* Support audit activities by providing required documentation and information.
