Job Description

Finance AnalystConsulting & Professional Services, London EC2 with hybris working£50,000 - £60,000 + benefitsThe Company A finance analyst is sought by a leading consulting firm operating in the UK and US. This ambitious business is provides professional niche consulting services to a range of global blue-chip clients. As a result of 25% Y-o-Y growth over the past few years,the group seeks an ambitious qualified accountant to undertake a Finance Analyst role supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director in the provision of key revenue forecasting and analysis.Key Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst

  • Production of revenue forecasts and review of revenue models
  • Perform revenue and variance analysis
  • Perform product & service analysis for generating insights for business strategies
  • Inform executive management heads of capacity and service demands to help with demand planning
  • Business Partnering with senior stakeholders in the UK and US on a regular basis to challenge
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and challenge stakeholders on their assumptions and revenue models
  • Provide support for budget and revenue updates
  • Management of a junior analyst is available if you wish
  • Ad hoc analysis when requested
Skills & Attributes of the Finance Analyst
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with experience in industry
  • Confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and sales managers
  • Ability to present at executive level (experience of this is not necessary)
  • Experience of a professional services environment is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience of using Excel ideally with exposure to pivot tables or v-lookups
  • Strong task management skills and the ability to see tasks through to completion
  • Attention to detail is critical with the ability and motivation to get tasks done "right first time"
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with stakeholders at senior level
  • Desire to develop with the business and take on additional responsibilities
