Job Description

Field Vending EngineerLocation: Surrounding area of LondonSalary: £30,000 - £33,000 DOE + company carHours: 8:00am - 5:00pmHolidays: 20 days + BHBenefits available after 12 months serviceOVERVIEWThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Engineer to join an expanding Company based in Oxford. This role would suit a candidate who is looking for a varied role within a busy Service Department and is looking for the opportunity to progress theircareer within the service industry.This role will play an integral part in providing first line on site and technical support to effectively install, service and maintain vending equipment to ensure the highest levels of service are delivered at all times.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all machines are filled, cleaned, serviced and merchandised to the required standards.
  • Ensuring that Client machine fills and clean requirements are met and maintained.
  • Responsible for correct completion of route paperwork.
  • Responsible for rectifying minor 1st line machine faults.
  • Responsible for the collection and return of machine cash to head office on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for ordering your route stock on time and collecting from the office.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all necessary colleagues.
  • Ensuring technical faults are notified to the Service Desk.
  • Ensuring calls received from the Service Desk are closed down promptly once attended to.
  • Liaison with Installers and Engineers on new machine installs.
  • Ensuring company vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
  • Attending Team meetings at suitable periods.
  • Attending training courses when necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience maintaining/servicing vending/coffee/beverage/utility or similar machines.
  • Ability to organise own diary.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to act upon own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full valid UK driving license.
