Job Description

If you offer excellent administrative skills and attention to detail, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Fees Department at the Girls Day School Trust (GDST).The GDST is the UKs leading family of girls schools, consisting of 23 independent schools and two academies. The Fees Department plays a crucial role in the processing of school fees.As Fees Department Administrator your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping the billing database up to date with details of pupils and payments
  • Composing and sending letters or emails to fee payers, school staff and other Fees Department staff
  • Identifying and processing termly refunds of retained deposits to fee payers
  • Fees Department correspondence, such as preparing welcome letters to families of new pupils or letters regarding the closure of accounts
  • Answering telephone calls/emails from parents
  • Assisting with the mailing of invoices
