Job Description

This is your chance to work with a successful and well-known consultancy business covering the South West region of England. Your role as a Farm Compliance Officer provides an excellent opportunity if you have an interest in farm cross compliance and have a strong agricultural background.You will be carrying out checks and advising farmers in several areas including cross compliance, NVZ Regulation and Health and Safety out on farm. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop new business opportunities and build on their existing client base.You will be well rewarded with excellent career development as well as personal growth as you are supported through significant training to ensure youre ready to lead in this field. I am looking for a for a driven and ambitious person who is passionate about farming, who enjoys being part of a dynamic team and strives to get results.If you are passionate about cross compliance, NVZ regulations and Health and Safety (or interested in this sector), are educated to degree level and have significant farming experience then this role is for you.What you need to have to be considered: Confident and enthusiastic with the ability to sell. Results driven, tenacious and resilient. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with farmers. Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping. A good understanding of IT programmes for use in budgeting and prediction tools. Ability to understand farmers objectives and goals. Farming experience and a 1-3 years of agricultural employment following graduation with a degree.
