Responding to the increasing needs of families in Sussex, Chichester Diocesan Association for Family Support Work is looking to appoint 2 full-time and 4 part-time Practitioners in Sussex to start April 2022.This an exciting opportunity for enthusiasticindividuals to join one of the oldest childrens charities in Sussex. As a Practitioner, you will work with a wide range of families and children. Referrals are received from a broad spectrum of schools, voluntary and statutory agencies.Key responsibilitiesinclude: identifying and managing own caseload, developing bespoke support services for each family, promotion and co-ordination of our service in the relevant area, developing support groups, drop-ins and term- and non-term- time activity sessions, providingadvice, guidance, support and counselling to families and individuals who are struggling with life. Some of the activities are currently curtailed because of the Covid-19 restrictions.The successful Practitioner candidates will hold either a degree in SocialWork, DipSW or CQSW and be registered with the relevant social care council or with an equivalent professional qualification and registration.
