Start Date: Sept 21 Pay: Kent Range 4 We are looking for a caring and proactive teammember to join our school in the role as Family Liaison Officer. This is a new role at Luddenham and we are lookingfor the right candidate who will work alongside school leaders in a bid tosupport our SENDCo and DSLs. We are particularly interested in someone who willactively support children and families, taking part in daily school life anddirectly impacting childrens mental health and wellbeing. Knowledge of relevant policies andproceduresPrevious experience of working with children andfamilies in the public, private or voluntary sectorExcellent communication, listening and observationskills, both verbal and writtenEmpathy - Ability to deal with difficult/sensitivesituationsConfidentiality - Ability to manage confidentialinformation and abide by GDPR legislationOrganisational abilities and accurate recordkeeping skills.Ability to remain calm under pressureGood inter-personal skillsWorking in partnership/teamwork - Understand andvalue the role of parents and carers in supporting childrenAbility to establish rapport, respectful andtrusting relationships with children, their families and carers and otheradultsUnderstand the role of others working in schooland external agenciesRelationships - Ability to work effectively andpositively with a range of adultsUnderstand and implement child protectionprocedures and uphold our Safeguarding culture at LuddenhamKnowledge of access to resources and sources ofsupport for familiesUndertake CPD where requiredConfident with ITClosing Date: 16/06/2021 at 18:00 Interviews: Week beginning 21st June Information about the school Luddenham is a one form entry school with 200pupils.
