Total Package for London: £47,500 per annumTotal Package for Milton Keynes: £44,250 per annumLocation: London or Milton Keynes - you will need to work from your preferred location for a minimum of 3 days per week, with regular travel to the other site.Take a lead role in providing the highest level of security to the FCDO’s estate.Join the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and you will deliver for the UK internationally. That could mean helping us promote Britain and our values, building strategic partnerships, protecting our interests, or supporting Britons abroad.It is a diverse challenge that will put you at the centre of world events, alongside around 17,300 people in our global network of offices, bringing a completely unique perspective of personal and professional pride.Your role with usThis is an interesting opportunity to maintain oversight of all outsourced security contracts for our entire UK Estate. Seeing to it that our service providers are meeting your unwavering standards, you will implement and monitor KPIs, and you will workclosely with the relevant parties to ensure the specifications, policies and standards that have been set by our security specialists are being adhered to. On a day-to-day basis, this will translate as being the operational lead for our security guarding servicecontract, which is held by G4S. If concerns are raised about the quality of this service, or if FCDO departments and partners request additional security services, you will be the first port of call. You will also maintain full visibility over the budget,ensuring contracted services, planned and reactive repairs and the replacement of security assets do not exceed the agreed spend. Crucially, you will act as our subject matter expert, so you will constantly analyse and address security threats, and share guidanceon best practice.Who we’re looking forTo make the most of this career-defining opportunity, you will have exceptional communication skills, particularly as you will need to develop great working relationships with our security specialists, plus you will contribute to operational performancemeetings. Coming from a similar organisation in which you have integrated safety and security policies within business operations, we will expect you to have experience of managing facilities management service contracts.
