Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a strong multi-site FM to make a name for themselves in the TrustWill involve re-vamping all procedures and processes to make sure they are covered from a H&S and Risk perspectiveClient DetailsGovernment TrustDescriptionFacilities Manager - UK Trust

  • Lead operation of Facilities Management to all premises
  • Responsible for the prevention and control of Legionella throughout portfolio
  • Responsible for asbestos management throughout the portfolio
  • The designated person responsible for fire systems and evacuation procedures
  • Be the Departmental Head for all matters pertaining to telecommunications, environment and facilities.
  • Project manage across all departments to develop and/or reorganise accommodation and services considering short term and long term strategic objectives
  • Manage on-going programme to ensure further reduction of the organisations carbon footprint in accordance with the Environmental Policy.
  • ProfileFacilities Manager - UK Trust
  • Educated to at least Graduate level with a relevant degree.
  • Experience in a Senior Facilities Management position with BIFM membership or Chartered status as Health & Safety officer.
  • Member of the RICS (Facilities Management) or a member of a professional body of equivalent standing.
  • Health and Safety qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH membership.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced leadership and Project Management skills to motivate and manage a dedicated specialist team.
  • Proven effective interpersonal skills are required to co-ordinate and liaise with senior management and other staff.
