Job Description

Sustainability focussed Assistant Facilities Manager with solid experience within a multi-tenanted Facilities Management environment needed for a role in a prestigious building with state of the art sustainability initiatives in the West End. You will be: liaising with tenants & FM contractors, implementing minor works, producing FM reports, help prepare budgets and get involved in the day to day running of the site and all aspects of facilities management. This is a firm that offers a structured career path for an ambitious Assistant Facilities Manager.Assistant Facilities Manager:

  • Support the Senior FM with the day to day delivery of facilities management services within a large multi-tenanted site including H&S, FM hard & soft service delivery.
  • Assist the FM with the buildings Social Responsible Management (H&S and environmental/sustainability) activities.
  • Deliver client KPIs within the asset
  • Delivering customer experience operational initiatives and ensuring contractors deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Fist point of contact for tenants on the day-to-day operation of the building.
  • Assist setting and controlling service charge budgets, quarterly variance reporting and reconciliation.
  • Assist procuring supplies and services including cleaning & security.
  • Monitor contractor performance against agreed standards.
  • Assist managing the buildings plant and equipment.
  • Implementing minor works.
  • Prepare site regulations and issue permits to work for all contractor activities on site.
  • Maintain, test and implement disaster planning procedures as well as organise and co-ordinate fire evacuation and bomb drills.
  • Maintain site records in accordance with best practice rules.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of occupier handbooks.
  • Deal with Health & Safety issues so IOSH or NEBOSH would be a bonus
