Job Description

Facilities Assistant2 days per week£25,000 pro rata - £12.50phSouth West LondonMy client, a well-established professional services representative body, are looking for an organised Facilities Assistant with strong attention to detail and good IT to join their team in South West London based offices. You will have exposure in facilities/IT/officecoordination. This is a part-time role working 2 days per week on a contract initially, with the view to go permanent. The Role

  • Provide general facilities support in the day-to-day running of the office
  • Sort all incoming post
  • Maintain with all stakeholders regarding any equipment or trouble shooting issues
  • Liaise with employees working from home who have networking issues
  • Maintenance of office stock levels including stationary, kitchen and office supplies
  • Carry out Health and Safety inductions for new staff
  • Ensure COVID regulations are in place
  • Carry out regular risk assessments and fire drills
  • Assist with the maintenance of IT supplies including printers, photocopiers etc.
  • Coordinate building maintenance and liaise with cleaners, security, and maintenance workers
  • Ensure the building operates effectively and efficiently in a safe environment
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as directed by Head of HR and the Finance Director
The Person
  • Experience within a Facilities/Office Coordination role
  • Health and Safety knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desirable - BIFM qualification
