Job Description

EYFS TeacherVeritas are working closely with a school in South East London looking for an EYFS teacher to join at the beginning of the new academic year. The school is looking to appoint a EYFS teacher, with a proven record of success to work alongside a talented staffteam. There is flexibility to offer the role as 3, 4 or 5 days per week depending on the candidate. All applications will be considered including ECTs and experienced teachers.The school is a 2 form entry primary school that prides itself that anyone can be successful due to the fantastic support system provided by students, staff, and the community. They aim to provide a challenging learning experience from which all pupils canbenefit from. The school is devoted to raising childrens expectations and aspirations. The principle objective is for each pupil to develop a deep interest in, and love for, learning. Pupils will be taught to apply this learning to the everyday world aroundthem. All pupils at the school become self-motivated, independent learners with a wide range of generic study skills that will prove useful to them throughout their lives and whilst engaged in this process they also want them to have fun and to enjoy theirchildhood. As an EYFS Teacher you will be offered parking on site but there is also public transport near by including a local bus stop.Main Responsibilities as a EYFS Teacher:

  • Teach all areas of the curriculum
  • Strong at phonics
  • Provide a stimulating classroom enviroment where pupils are happy to speak their mind and engage in healthy debate
  • Effective planning, preparation, and evaluation of all aspects of the EYFS provision
  • Provide pastoral care and support to children and provide them with a secure environment in which to learn
  • Run after school clubs and take part in the wider school ethos
The successful EYFS Teacher candidate will need the following:
  • The right to work in the UK
  • DBS (Refunded DBS once worked a set period)
  • Overseas police check if applicable
  • Experience or relevantly degree educated
  • You must be willing to attend a registration interview and an interview with the client
