An enthusiastic, deadline driven Contracts Administrator is required who is capable of handling a high volume of work in a complex business environment is required to work for a defence company based in London (SE1 0LL). The jobholder will liaise with suppliersin the arrangement, booking and ordering of training and associated services. Person specification: Key Technical Skills/competencies: • Experience of working in administration, working with customers and suppliers • Understanding of controls surrounding governance and business processes Key Behavioural competencies: • Able to work as a team player and organise own workload • Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude • Customer focussed • Enjoy working in a dynamic way Key Analytical Skills and Challenges/competencies: • Experience of using complex systems • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Ability to build good & effective relationships with internal & external customers and suppliers • Numerically and IT literate (Microsoft) Company/Industry Knowledge: • Understanding of a supplier /client function and its interactions. • Understanding of the training environment Qualifications: • Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent) Major Tasks and Activities: - Booking Training Providers, Venues and Equipment - Purchase course consumables and ad-hoc items - Liaising with Purchasing Solution Specialist and Supply Chain team to ensure correct suppliers and terms are used - Resolving internal and external queries - Manage environmental and responsible purchasing policies and related issues - Research, collating and reporting information on cancellations of external provider services in relation to KPI information. - Raise, purchase order requisitions, and assist with the process of payments to suppliers. - Learning Management System interaction, delegate allocation, class completion. - Other ad-hoc administrative duties to support the External Provision Manager Key Outputs/Deliverables: - Ensuring invoices are processed accurately and paid in an accurate and timely manner - Ensure queries are actioned promptly - Class closure Morson is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
