We are recruiting an Exposure Analyst for a Global Reinsurance firm located in London. The wider team work on the validation, development and implementation of risk models, looking at natural catastrophes, validating catastrophe models, developing modeladjustments, and undertaking research projects.The successful candidate will assist with portfolio exposure accumulation processes and produce internal and external regulatory reports. They will also generate and review exposure accumulations against risk appetites and continuously improve analysis to ensureit is at the forefront of the industry.Desirable Skills and Qualifications: 2-3 years experience in catastrophe modelling platforms; experience of AIR and RMS Strong Excel skills and proven ability to develop and maintain custom VBA and SQL stored procedures, additional programming experience is an advantage (R/Python/VBA) Technical knowledge and broad practical experience of reinsurance Strong intellectual and mathematical acumen, demonstrated by excellent academic results, preferably in Mathematics, Engineering, Science or Economics A self-starter, able to solve problems and adapt as required Design and use of data mining/machine learning techniques would be beneficial Experience completing Lloyds regulatory exposure management returnsTo discuss this role further, please contact the Financial Services team at Venn Group recruitment.
