Job Description

The Treasury & Portfolio Finance team is the driving force behind our firms financing, margin, cash, collateral, liquidity, FX hedging, and counterparty relationships. Our focus is on implementing cutting-edge technology solutions to build highly efficientand scalable processes. This is your chance to gain exposure to a wide array of asset classes and the underlying derivatives, ranging from equities and fixed income to FX, commodities, and credit. As part of this hybrid role, you will engage with portfoliomanagement, execution, operations, IT, legal, risk, and relationship management.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financing optimization models to enhance margin and cost efficiency across multiple asset classes and legal agreements.
  • Generate and execute trades spanning cash equities, equity derivatives, futures, options, Treasuries, sovereign bonds, Repo, and FX.
  • Provide pricing, margin, and financing market insights to Portfolio Managers.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in risk management and technology, identifying opportunities to leverage them for an enhanced risk platform.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of risk technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate and develop counterparty relationships within the investment bank and broker-dealer community.
  • Assist in cash and collateral management to optimize balance sheet usage, excess liquidity, FX exposure, and margin posted with prime brokers and exchanges.
  • Develop analytics and reports for monitoring counterparty metrics, funding markets, and Treasury PnL.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Middle Office teams to streamline processes and improve back-office workflow.
  • Work in tandem with IT to develop and enhance front-end trading systems.
  • Gain an understanding of and provide backup coverage for core Treasury portfolio management and trading strategies, including Equity and Fixed Income Relative Value and Delta-One Arbitrage.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Financing and Securities Lending at a top prime broker or asset manager.
