Job Description

Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. Lloyds Banking Group support a culture of Inclusion and opportunities todevelop to become the Bank of the future and Helping Britain Prosper.On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for an Internal Communications Events Manager for a 5-month contract based hybrid in either London, Bristol or Edinburgh.Purpose of the Internal Communications Events Manager:The Colleague Communication & Experience team has been built as the centre of excellence within Group Corporate Affairs (GCA) to rethink how best we support both the strategic business delivery and cultural transformation through simpler, more targeted andconsistent end to end colleague communications and experiences.The internal communications landscape is going through a massive transformation, as it embraces the opportunities that technology can bring.As anInternal Communications Events Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Having a deep knowledge and experience of the tools and technology-enabled innovation that demonstrates GCAs position as the centre of excellence for internal events, now and in the future.
  • Working with the C-suite stakeholders and internal colleagues.
  • Hosting Townhalls, sending invites, hosting Teams calls, booking in diaries, venues etc.
  • Specialising in planning and prioritising internal colleague experiences that maximise colleague engagement, with an eye on the external environment / best practice, preferably with experience of working in an events agency.
  • Stakeholder management and partnering skills, building an extensive network of subject matter experts from across the Group.
  • Embracing and inspiring change and continuous improvement, as well as a willingness to be bold and bring ideas and experiments to help us to maximise our opportunities and effectively adopt new technology to enhance the colleague experience.
  • Working at pace in an agile tech-enabled environment.
What we require from the candidate:
  • Delivering end to end events production.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels and hit the ground running.
  • Be outcome driven.
