Job Description

Training Events OfficerMembership BodyLondon/HybridBasic Salary £31,000-£34,000 dependant on experience plusPermanent, Full Time, 37.5 Hours a WeekMembership Events experience is desirable.An excellent opportunity for an Events Officer to join a thriving and highly respected Membership Body. Remote based with twice a week into London for meetings and events.Job purpose:

  • Support high quality development and delivery of the education portfolio
  • Support ambitious commercial growth targets for the education courses
  • Support the delivery of education courses and other events
  • Support the education team to complete ongoing work activities and plan and launch new offers
  • Support the upload of education content and information to the website and online learning platform
Main duties and responsibilities: Professional duties1. Deliver a high quality of service for the members and other stakeholders2. Support the continuous improvement of the delivery of the education portfolio in terms of accessibility, diversity, and inclusion3. Work with the education teamand other staff as required to resolve problems and improve delivery issues promptlyEducation Delivery Activities4. Support the education team with the delivery of online and face-to-face courses and other educational events, on the days immediately beforeand during delivery. This may include some overtime, and will include work on occasional weekends, working agreed in advance in accordance with the TOIL policy.
  1. Support the administration, operational delivery, and promotion of Education programmes, with specific responsibilities including:
a. Advanced Courses: Administer the Advanced Coursesb. Approved Courses: Administer the Approved Coursesd. Learning Management System (Academy): Work with the Manager to support the delivery of eLearning programmes:e. Website: Work with the rest of the Educationteam to:6. Administer the feedback process for all education products, including courses, recording, and sharing the findings with the Education and Marketing teamsOther Education Activities7. Liaise with speakers, members, third party suppliers, and otherstakeholders (in writing and in person) and take action as necessary to progress delivery of relevant projects8. Work with the Marketing department, scheduling any promotional work for education products in good time, and providing them with information theyneed in order to advertise9.
