Job Description

Events Manager - B2B Conferences & ExhibitionsCentral London - Hybrid working + TravelSalary up to £40K + BenefitsIm recruiting an experienced Event Operations professional for a Global B2B Conference & Exhibitions business.

  • Direct experience planning & delivering B2B commercial Conferences &Exhibitions
  • Speaker & exhibitor management
  • Budget management
  • Sourcing & managing suppliers
  • Large-scale event experience (preferable)
  • Direct operations experience in the B2B Conference/exhibitions industry is essential
The role:The Events Manager works as part of the London based events operations team and will focus on the coordination and management of the event logistics to ensure a high-quality experience, and cost-effective, well-run events which provide customers with a trulygreat experience. Working as part of the event project team alongside sponsorship sales, conference production, and the marketing team to ensure each event is successful.Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning the event experience and internal project managementworking with our colleagues in event operations, conference production, and sponsorship sales you will create, plan and deliver the event logistics and experience.
  • On-the-day event management - from front desk registration to briefing and managing the temps and suppliers through to ensuring the event experience is delivered.
  • Manage the event budget & cost plus maintain and update accurate records of all finances during the project
  • Manage the event suppliers and maintain relationships with all parties
  • As the main point of contact for sponsors and exhibitors, ensure any queries are resolved, complete pre-event briefings, and ensure sponsors and exhibitors are aware of the logistical requirements of their participation at the event.
The Person:For this Events Manager position, we are looking for direct experience in event operations for b2b conferences and/or exhibitions.
