Job Description

Events and Partnerships Coordinator who has good knowledge of the UKs education sector, is extremely well organised, with experience in organising events, as well as excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills isrequired for well-established and growing education Charity based in London.SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience) + BenefitsBENEFITS: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional Christmas closure period. Employer contribution to pension (5%), interest-free season ticket, cycle and technology loans and work from home allowance, Employee Assistance Programme.LOCATION: Remote Working with travel to the London office a few times per term for meetings, and travel to events. Please keep an eye out for our email.JOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Events and Partnerships Coordinatorwho has good knowledge of the UKs education sector, is extremely well organised, with experience in organising events, as well as excellent project management, interpersonaland communication skills.Working as the Events and Partnerships Coordinator you will be responsible for curating, organising, and delivering events programmes for teachers, senior leaders and others working in education.The events programme has two aims: to grow the charitys reach across the education sector, by showcasing its work to those that are less familiar with it, and to build a better sense of community amongst schools that are already working with the Charity.The Events and Partnerships Coordinator will plan the content, sessions, and speakers for these events, ensuring they are engaging and impactful and that there is a high-quality attendee experience at all times.The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to growing the Charitys reach to achieve their goal of working with 1900 schools by 2025.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review. Please keep an eye out for our email.DUTIESYour duties as Events and Partnerships Coordinator will include:

  • Lead the development, organisation, and delivery of the charitys key national events for schools in 2023
  • Organise a series of webinars and in-person regional events throughout the year for member and non-member schools, shaping their format, contents, and location
  • Find and book relevant, enlightening, and engaging speakers for events, including via building new partnerships with external organisations whose work is related to the charity
  • Organise occasional events for funders and other senior stakeholders in education, including opportunities for them to experience the charitys work in schools
  • Arrange for the Charity to speak or exhibit at significant events across the education sector
  • Deliver all events on time, within budget and to a high-quality in terms of content and logistics
  • Seek out and develop national and international partnership opportunities through events or ad hoc programmes
  • Tailor the programme of events each year in line with organisational priorities
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Have a good knowledge of the UKs education sector (you may have previously worked in a school or for an education charity, or are otherwise able to demonstrate knowledge of the sector)
  • Extremely well organised and have excellent project-management skills, including managing internal stakeholders and external suppliers and partners
  • Have some experience organising events, ideally large-scale in-person conferences/festivals as well as webinars
  • Enjoy being innovative and creative in planning, curating or commissioning new activities or events - including thinking of new ideas, formats or content and putting these into action
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience building strong relationships both inside and outside organisations youve worked for
  • A self-starter who takes on new opportunities and challenges with enthusiasm
  • Comfortable working at pace in a fast-moving environment, where you are expected to be creative and take the initiative
